Anonymous, circa 310-300 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 20 mm, 7.17 g), Neapolis (?). Bearded head of Mars to left, wearing crested Corinthian helmet; to right, oak spray. Rev. Head of a bridled horse to right on base inscribed [ROMANO]; to left, stalk of grain. Crawford 13/1. HN Italy 266. RBW 3. Sydenham 1. Nicely toned. Scrapes and scratches and two attempted punctures and with three test cuts on the edge, otherwise, about very fine.
